Quality of Care Models in the Bangladesh Health Sector: Showcasing the Best Practices
The Government of Bangladesh (GOB) has already implemented a number of QOC models to ensure quality MNCH services. Accordingly, this study takes the opportunity to document the success stories of selected QOC initiatives in Bangladesh so as to disseminate and showcase the best practices of the initiatives that were successful in their impact. A comprehensive methodological approach was employed, including a literature review, stakeholder consultations, and key informant interviews. The report critically examines the different steps taken by particular service providers, which need to be documented to obtain a clear understanding of the existing gaps and take the necessary actions to improve QOC.
