Evaluation of the pilot Shasthyo Suroksha Karmasuchi (SSK): A health protection scheme of the government of Bangladesh

BACKGROUND
The study will use a mixed-methods approach, including a household survey, exit interviews, focus group discussions, case studies, key informant interviews, in-depth interviews, document reviews, and a health facility survey.

OBJECTIVES
The overall objective of this study is to investigate the SSK scheme in terms of financial and non-financial factors from both demand- and supply-side perspectives.

Kalihati, Madhupur, Ghatail Upazilas (intervention)
Gopalpur, Shakhipur, Basail Upazilas (comparison) under Tangail District
